Care Management Solutions Presents at National Employee Benefits Conference

Employers hear “great content and ideas” to reduce costs and enhance employee wellness 

FARMINGTON, CT (January 30, 2018) – Care Management Solutions Inc., a leading health and wellness company and a subsidiary of ConnectiCare, Inc., presented at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) 63rd Annual Employee Benefits Conference in Las Vegas on October 23, 2017.

The presentation, titled “Aligning Benefit Design and Incentives,” focused on using benefit design as a lever to drive early prevention, detection and education, while controlling employer costs and increasing employee wellness. Participants learned about the following:

  • Data mining and analytics
  • Identifying targeted objectives (e.g., diabetes, heart disease) and the incentives or plan design features that help meet those objectives
  • Assessing value and savings
  • Incorporating outcome-based metrics and performance guarantees with vendors
  • Various communication strategies for success
Feedback on the session was very positive. Participants reported that they left the conference with “great plans on how to attack rising costs” and “useful content and ideas.”
